The New Ford Ranger FX4 is scheduled for launch in Malaysia this 3 June at 11am and will be broadcasted via both YouTube and Facebook Live making the Ford Ranger the first pickup truck in the country to be launched simultaneously through both these platforms.
“As we embrace the new normal, we also embrace in new ways to bring excitement to our customers, and we are doing so by being the first pickup truck in the country to launch a vehicle simultaneously on both Facebook and YouTube live,” Syed Ahmad Muzri Syed Faiz, Managing Director for Sime Darby Auto ConneXion.
The New Ford Ranger FX4 is built for customers who enjoys taking their truck on life’s adventures and brings a host of new and unique features which are apparent from first glance. Its tough and bold exterior also continues inside the cabin further complementing the customers rugged and thrill-seeking lifestyle.
With its ‘Built Ford Tough’ credentials, the Ranger FX4 is also packed with a host of smart technologies and safety features seen in the current Ranger vehicles, including 4X4 Shift-On-The-Fly, rain sensing wipers, the light and nimble Electric Power Assisted Steering (EPAS), daytime running lights and headlights for better visibility. It also comes with two airbags, Limited Slip Differential, Hill Descent Control, Hill Launch Assist, Antilock Braking System (ABS) with Emergency Brake Assist (EBA) and Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD), ISOFIX child seat mounts, Electronic Stability Control with Traction Control, Rollover Mitigation, Trailer Sway Control and Adaptive Load Control.
To celebrate the launch, the first 150 customers who purchase the New Ford Ranger FX4 will receive the following accessories worth RM5,398 for free:
Free accessories including a matte black sports bar and executive tinting
Free in-built Digital Video Recorder (DVR) that offers a range of smart and safety functions including high-definition (HD) recording, wide angle viewing, night view recording and Mobile App connect via Hotspot. It also comes with 8GB memory card
Customers who would like to place a vehicle booking ahead of the launch to take advantage of the free accessories can reach out to the Ford Digital Salesperson at +6019-204 1200 from 9am – 4pm, Monday – Friday, excluding public holidays. Through this dedicated WhatsApp channel, customers can be linked with an authorised Ford salesperson at a dealership located nearest to them. This would allow customers to transact at their own convenience and pay the deposit for their vehicle wherever they are.
“For customers visiting our showrooms and service centres nationwide, we would like to welcome and assure you that the necessary precautions are in place to ensure the health and safety of our visitors and staff as outlined by the Government. This includes, the practice of social distancing, temperature checks upon entering the premise, hand sanitiser dispensers located at common areas, in addition to frequent sanitising of high contact points throughout the premises, including service and display vehicles,” said Jeffrey Gan, Managing Director for Retail and Distribution, Malaysia, Sime Darby Motors.
